... Derby Museum, but regardless we drove the 15 miles to the famous Churchill Downs...This beautiful racetrack has been the home of the famous Kentucky Derby since 1875

Dinner was at a local Olive Garden and afterwards a dip in the hotel pool...

Oh yes, we did mange some time for Emily's newly acquired NASCAR driving skills...I let her behind the wheel of the SUV, but only limited in a local neighborhood....I can't understand why I have a stiff neck!!! Ya Think!!!

... zip-line system. It was sick to be flying down this zip-line at high speeds and hear things like water springs in the background and see nothing but caverns all around you. It was a great last stop in Kentucky before we started our 9 hour drive to DC. We are reaching the tail end of the trip and yet when we keep talking about it, we realize that this trip has been more then we could have ever dreamed of. But we aren't done yet, DC is up next.
