Huntsville, Alabama, United States bastormsoccer... to be kept as a family secret. I don't think people want to know if u eat squirrel..or possum..or rabbit. Kidding...I don't care what you eat as long as your never offended if I turn down every dinner invitation to your house.. Well I'm wrapping this thing up. I'm tired and I don't hear much noise coming from the Guitar Hero room. Talk to everyone tomorrow. We will upload some pics tomorrow. Peace Out..ha..
Huntsville, Alabama, United States bastormsoccerWE FINALLY MADE IT! A few wrong turns, some crazy hick towns, and one AMAZING BBQ restaurant and we are finally here. The trip was FULL of anticipation and alot of humor. If you could have only heard the walkie talkie conversations the girls had....lets just say in a 9 hour trip they never seemed to get bored...I wanna know if all you parents injected them with caffiene this moring, haha. Seriously though, it was a great ...

Looking back, I noted that I slept better in my tent - thanks to the comfy Thermarest and sleeping bag - than I did in the various other lodgings. Sleeping in the tent was only difficult if the campground was close enough to the highway that road noise kept me awake. That is the only reason that I chose a motel for the first night on the road and a KOA cabin for the last ...
... packing. Basic camping gear goes behind the driver. Tarps, tent and tent stakes are right beside the door because they come out first. Then Thermarest (inflatable mat), sleeping bag, sleeping bag liner, and pillow. Clothing and personal items are packed by the other side door. Camp stove and fuel, cooking supplies, and food are accessed through the back door of the van.
... able to buy it! Yesterday (the 23rd) we went to Birmingham to visit my cousin Megan. She's in the UAB Children's Hospital and we wanted to be able to see her while we were this close. Oh and we just bought a Garmin Nuvi 770. It's the one that has the detailed maps of North America and Europe. I bought one from ebay for $240 including the rush shipping to make sure it gets to us before we leave on the 31st! Oh and in other cool news. I saw ...

YOU KNOW? WE TOOK LITTLE BIT INTO HUNTSVILLE WHILE MOM AND
DAD TOOK IN A WELL DESERVED MOVIE BY THEMSELVES. SO, WE
WENT TO THE BIG SPRINGS PARK. THIS IS WHERE JESSEE JAMES
ROBBED THE BANK. HE HAD TO JUMP OFF A CLIFF INTO THE WATER
TO BE ABLE TO GET AWAY. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY TO TAKE IN
ALL WHAT THE PARK HAD TO OFFER. WE FED THE DUCKS AND FISH.

... us back from California 10 years ago. The roadway through Louisville was like being on a roller coaster. The dips in the road were ferocious. It was a good thing that we had taken the time to make sure the trailer was loaded properly or we would have had not only a disaster inside the trailer, but a real fear of loosing it off the back of the truck. Thank heavens, it was attached very well and we were able to get through the area without ...
Huntsville, Alabama, United States colleen.killorn... There are nature trails and picnic facilities on the grounds. More Huntsville history and some fun at the Huntsville Depot Museum. Take a trolley for a tour of downtown, or go on a guided tour of the depot; see an HO-gauge recreation of the city in the 1860's, the roundhouse, a working turntable, and a steam locomotive. The depot, built in 1860, is one of America's oldest railroad structures.
