Final Travel Day!
Well, this is it! We had a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, checked out, took the shuttle back to the airport and settled in for our the 13 hour ride from Hong Kong to Chicago. The flight went by relatively quick, with no mishaps.
We had to wait a few hours in Chicago before catching our almost 4 hour flight to Seattle. Again, not …
Bangkok to Hong Kong
This morning we got up and took a taxi at 5:00am from the Sukosol to the airport. We changed out all our money, and got to the business of leaving Thailand. What a great place!!!
We flew on Cathay Pacific, and it was a great, easy flight. We got through customs quickly, picked up our luggage and easily found the shuttle desk for our hotel …
Hong Kong
My only full day in Hong Kong. Smoggy and humid as usual. Tung Chung for morning yum cha with the grandparents. Lunched by the harbour then wandered down to meet Matt, Ronak and Pete. Had second lunch, then went to the Mong Kok and Sham Shui Po markets. Ferried to Central and ate at Causeway Bay before returning to the airport for the flight to London.
Oxford to HongKong
Hi everyone! Well today is finally here and we are up and at em' at 8am ready to finishing off some last minute packing. We are expecting …

It was 27 degrees at 11pm and the stickiness cling to my skin... I followed the crowd that lead to a train- all I could think was oh ****! And surely enough I looked to my right and I noticed …

This was a nice place to stay. The shuttle was very convenient, the rooms were nice, the pool was gorgeous. The restaurant hours were a little weird, but oh well. The staff was friendly and spoke great English. Not as pretty as it shows on the website, but it was convenient and and really nice inside. Very pleased!

We were very impressed with the free taxi pickup from (and back to) the airport. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool and steam room were great way to unwind after a long flight and the rooms themselves were immaculate. Very good value for money indeed!
