5 stars accomodation with no fuss!

A very discreet 5 stars accomodation in the heart of the city! Close to everything including Vaci utca shopping, transportation means and the Danube!

Reception is small but nicely decorated. Rooms are excellent with nice beds, tv, desk, small couch and a fully equiped kitchen so one can cook his own food or invite someone for lunch or dinner. Bathroom has the standard Marriott amenities (Neutrogena).

Breakfast is standard but very tasty and efficient. A small gym is also available.

Staff is very helpful and polite!

I loved it and would certainly go back there!

What a Great Hotel & Great Deal

This is the best deal of our whole Eastern European trip! And it was only 85 Euro a nite (plus taxes).

We got upgraded slightly but saw the smaller suite and they were both terrific. We stayed for 5 nights and the location was unbeatable, 1/2 block from the Vaci (excuse spelling) and 1 block from grocery/wine store, 2 blocks from trams and various subway lines.

Staff was helpful and friendly, free continental breakfast was delicious (usual cheeses, buns, yogurts, juice, coffee etc.).

This is HIGHLY recommended for quality, price, location and service, tho I think you need to stay on the weekend to get the "racy" rate. It is actually classed as an executive apartment rather than a hotel.

Don't recommend the restaurants on either side the 100... somethng was ok but the one to the left was very, very mediocre.

Absolutely Brilliant!!

My work friends and me have just got back from a long weekend at the Marriott Appartments and were absolutely delighted with our appartments.Big roomy with a kitchen area inclusive of dishwasher and microwave.You wouldnt be able to cook a three course meal, but it was ideal for snacks and drinks.Everything was clean and fresh.The best was the small gym and sauna with plunge pool which was great after an afternoon sight seeing. Just cant speak highly enough of the place and would return again tomorrow!

Exellent value!

We stayed at the Marriots apartments in early September 2005 and were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Room was very large with a full equipped kitchen and good sized bathroom. Main room had bed, and two couches (could be used as beds). Location very convenient in center of town. Excellent value for 85 Euro!

Great Hotel / Apartment

As a frequent business traveller I wish I could have stayed in a place like this more often

Great hotel, although to be honest put our own at home apartment to shame with the facilities.

Great room with fully fitted kitchen, lounge and deep bath. Satelitte tv, small but effective gym.. need I go on!

We really enjoyed the continental breakfast in the lounge in the mornings.

Great location surrounded by restaurants in Pest.

Check out the restaurant next door for nice goulash!

Great value and Location

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment that was huge. It has 2 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a dining corner. The apartment was very clean and the furnishings were in great condition. The location is right off Vaci Utca - budapest main pedestrian shopping street and a street away from the Danube river. We stayed during the weekend, and rates were very low (mostly a business clientele). Could not be better.

Great Location, Nice 2 Bedroom Apartment

This was a great find. We happened upon it while trying to find a parking place in Budapest near the river. The location is excellent, within a block and a half of the river. The 2 bedroom apartment has 2 good size bedrooms separated by a living area and a small kitchen. It was well worth the money. I was not too happy with all of the add-on charges though (parking and heavy taxes.) I was accustomed to taxes being included in the quoted price in other parts of Europe. Oh well, live and learn. I have already reserved an apartment there for my next trip in June 2005. I don't plan on spending much time in the hotel, so the fact that the hotel does not have all of the shops like the big Marriott hotel (2 blocks away) does not bother me. The rooms are nice and the breakfast is good. That's what counts. I had access to all of the amenities in the big Marriott down the street if I cared to walk down there.

Excellent value for groups or families

Just returned from 2 nights here with 3 friends. The two-bedroom apartments are fantastic - one large room with a double bed, one large room with two single beds and a sofa bed. Two TV's, a kitchen, two bathrooms / baths, more than enough storage space. Furnishings are on a par with a high-end 3 star / bottom-end 4 star hotel.

The location is very good. You are 30 seconds walk from the Danube and 30 seconds from the main pedestrianised shopping street. Castle Hill, the Gellert Baths etc are walkable. The main bar area (around Oktogon metro) requires a metro trip or a cheap taxi ride.

The buffet breakfast is included in the price and is good quality - lots of cereals, pastries, yoghurts, juice, coffee. For Euro 135 + tax per night for four people (and you could get six in the room if there were two couples), it was great value.

If you are looking for a very cool and cheap bar, try Negro in the square in front of the bassilica. Champagne cocktails for Euro 3 each! Opposite is a classy and very cheap restaurant called Leroy. Club Verne (a submarine shaped and themed bar / disco with karaoke!) is also a good laugh and is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

Amazing Value in Budapest

My wife and I were planning a trip to Budapest for a weekend and were perplexed at the prices for many of the hotels . . . then we found the Millennium Court on Expedia for just 90 euros per night - about a third of what the Meridien was asking.

The Millenium Court is a simple hotel - like a suite at the Hampton Inn or the Courtyard. Still, the quality of the fixtures was nothing to complain about. The rooms were clean, silent (we faced the "light shaft," so no view), the bed was decent, and the shower, free breakfast and everything else was great. And, lemme tell you - the location of this hotel is excellent, very close to the Meridien, Marriott, or InterContinental - on the more lively Pest side of town.

The staff were friendly - but this is a low service hotel, so no gift shop, slippers, etc. (though you can walk across the street to the Marriott if you need anything).

We ate an excellent dinner at Red & White (great list of Hungarian wines) near Opera - don't miss it! We had a great stay in Budapest, and the Millenium Court played a role in making our weekend stress-free and fun.

Fabulous!

We just returned from a trip to Budapest, in February '04, with our 3 children and we were so pleased with our stay at this hotel. You know if you have travelled to Europe with your kids, it gets very expensive staying in 2 rooms. This hotel is a long term apartment hotel for business people, but we felt right at home there. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, brand new apartment with a kitchenette, for 135 Euros a night - including breakfast!!!! That was the weekend rate. The regular rate is 175 Euros for a weekday, still a bargain. The one bedroom apartment is cheaper. The continental breakfast was just that - no hot food, but fine. The hotel didn't have a full staff, but the Marriott employee that was working at the desk was always very helpful and friendly. This hotel was such a find! Even if you don't visit Budapest with 3 kids in tow it's a great hotel. Perfect location, a block from the Danube right near the Erzebet bridge. It's a 2 minute walk from the other Marriott. Fabulous find! There is a similiar hotel in Prague, I wish that we had stayed there instead of the Intercontinental. Ahh - next time!
