It was the wine and olive festival in Edgewater Park today. We visited with people from Washington ,DC,New Orleans and Maryland. We absorbed as much info as we could about New. Orleans ,our next destination.

... the waterfront/shops. Denise brought fudge. This towns claim to fame is sponges. It is known as the sponge capital of the world and apparently provides 70% of the sponges sold around the world. We did a short boat tour and got the history of sponge diving and experienced how they are harvested.
After Tarpon springs we headed off to find one of the beaches Tampa is famous for. We wound up at St Pete Beach which is west of Tampa Bay. After struggling to find ...
... and we were sitting at the World of Beer with Guy and Maureen in Tampa, if this place was dry we were aborting the trip altogether and heading back to Canada. After a few-pre dinner beers we headed over to the restaurant Ceviche and had an unreal Tapas and sangria dinner. If you are ever in Tampa, go there for happy hour... $4 tapas, $3 sangrias... nuff said. It was then ...

Looking back - this was a great trip with wonderful memories - although at times it was a bit frustrating and tedious ... but as I always say ' ITS ALL PART OF THE ADVENTURE'.
