The end of our journey is in sight!! We stayed near Detroit on Tuesday night and crossed back into Canada at Sarnia and headed down to Point Pelee - Canada's most southern point before going to Shiela and Rob's last night. Although it is our country's most southerly point, the weather was cold and windy!! Today we are on our way to St Catharines for a quick visit with Grandma ...

In one week the preparation ends. The packing ends. My time with family and friends ends. And, in one week, the adventure begins.

In one week I will be leaving home for Europe. As I say my farewells, book my hostels, make my final packing list and look at the things I have bought and gathered in preparation for the trip, I realize that I have hit the point of no return. I thought that ...

The game itself wasn’t great. Both teams made a number of errors and the Nationals jumped out to an 8-1 lead. We took off around the 8th inning and started our drive to Detroit.

Unlike the previous night, there were lots of rooms available in Detroit. We checked into a Marriot for a great rate by the Detroit Metro airport and spent our last night away from ...
