The final countdown has started - 10 days to go.

To raise more funds for the Memusi Foundation before I head off to Kenya, I had a bake sale at work today. It went pretty well and I managed to raise 110. After Linda's lovely Kedgeree dinner on Friday night (plus a bit too much alcohol), Sandy and I spent Saturday wandering the streets of Edinburgh. Luckily the weather was great, cool and windy but dry and sunny glimpses. We managed a long tour thru the Palace of Holyroodhouse, saw the 1pm gun go off at Edinburgh Castle, had lunch at ...

Scotland: Loched In

... needs a man for audience participation, the pickings were slim (I was the only one) so I had to get up and pretend I was her annoyed boyfriend. I have no idea what it is like to be annoyed at my girlfriend so this was very difficult. A few minutes later she needed more audience participation and again it had to be a man. Bugger. Up I got again only this time I had to sing a duet with her. Tess was having a great time during all of this, I'm sure it was because I'm such a ...
