    ... of turtles. They were so tragically slow that several big fish popped in and snatched away all the food-- right in front of the turtles' beaks! We had to literally drop the food to land/float RIGHT in front of the turtles' beaks! Otherwise, the turtles would sloooowly float around to try to get closer to the food, at which time a big, slimy fish would come and snatch it away! But I don't think the turtles in that lake are in danger by any means.  ...

    ... around the Sibley Horticulture Center, which had a Mediterranean exhibit as well as a tropical exhibit with huge banana trees! They didn't have much written down, just plaques with names of the plants. I guess since it's a private attraction with high end lodges and golf course, it doesn't have a lot of educational resources geared towards school children?     Awoke - feel good! Had some Rooibos & skypes the family - amazing how clear it is! Need some exercise - cant wait 2 get outside but I think it's 4deg!! Yikes!
