    ... way to do LA was to use Air B&B, a way of renting rooms, sofas or sometimes entire houses or apartments from other people who sign up to it. We chose to stay in someones furnished shed for our stay, an American couple who were fairly established on Air B&B who allowed us to use all of their facilities including their hot tub!     ... lunches in New Orleans. It's always a good fallback when we couldn't find a suitable place to eat in a new town.
