    ... behind me couldn’t stop in time. The driver swerved into the shoulder and their car came up alongside me. If we hadn’t been in the outside lane swerving would probably not have been an option and the lovely white Prius would have ceased to be so lovely.

    ... Sooooooo... what do you expect?!
    I had carried my script through all the security and sensors. It was at my feet the whole show and ready should by some good fortune there was a moment. Did I mention there was security EVERYWHERE? At the till in the shop, conversation allowed that I give a peekaboo glance of the script to someone who said "sadly, Ellen pretty much leaves right after the show." That closed the door right there and then.

    So we landed in LAX and took a shuttle to the international airport of LA. When we stepped out of the door, we were greeted by a blast of humidity and heat. We went to our gate and started our 3 hour layover to Narita airport.
