... in our bags. So easy. From Alamo car park to departure lounge in 1 hour.
We had plenty of time to walk the terminal and check out the food outlets and decided what we would have for dinner (no included meals on domestic american flights). We found a table near the eatery and set up our computers to use the free wi fi. Turns out they only give 20 minutes free so I quickly checked the emails – no-one had sent me any :(.

Ok so it's been a while, let's hope my memory serves me well. Where did I leave things? Hating the Fashion District in downtown LA? LA redeemed itself with Melrose Avenue. I mean, that road could even turn me into a shopper. Not that I bought anything. Well, I bought some socks. Sock and roll baby (see what I did there?). But whereas the Fashion District had been all brightly coloured and highly patterned lycra, Melrose was it's misunderstood goth sister. ...
... as well, but well, it's hard to stop people from traveling. For many it's the highlight of the year :)
But another thing that HAS to be mentioned now: I only watched two movies and sorted through pictures for a while to clear up space on my memory card. And then I SLEPT! I think I slept for over 2h, which is super unusual for me. Usually I NEVER EVER sleep in planes. This was a first :)

After this we dashed back to the motel to set up the iPad to FaceTime Elise, at six am UK time, before she did her second and third exams later in the day. That was a lot of driving again today, but it was worth it to stay here in Kingman and gives us time tomorrow to have a good look around this historic area before heading off for Flagstaff or ...
