    Phew, what a day. After overnight rain the temperature in Berlin was a lot cooler than yesterday. That said it was still in low 20s so very pleasant.

    Samson and I picked up the car and managed to navigate our way back to the hotel to pick up G&G. We then headed south towards Colditz Castle.     ... a woman from Germany and there were presently some marital issues and he was here attempting to resolve those issues and visit his children. It was only after I got home and did a bit of searching that I discovered he was the conductor of the orchestra and has also had quite a few positions in Germany.     ... afternoon when there was a concert at Nikolaikirche. From the advertising on the church I was expecting an organ concert, however it was a combination organ and Blechbläser (brass) concert. The small brass orchestra consisted of about 25 musicians. One of the members really stood out.
