Al Heet is a town just outside of Riyadh. The cave itself is not one of the tourist attractions you'll find on the internet. All the same it's always amazing finding places that naturally retain a lot of water in this very dry climate. Also, like most places here sadly, it looks like a tourist attraction with all the litter in and around it.

The Camel Trails are ancient trails that were used to get up the Tuwaiq escarpment before the Makkah highway was carved through it. This is on the south end of Riyadh. The escarpment is almost a thousand feet high, so the views are spectacular.

Survived the first leg of the journey. Sg--> ridyah -->Paris --> London The journey on the plane was not as bad as expected. Due to all the scary stories read about the airline online, the expectations were low. It was really just a pleasant flight, with sufficient inflight entertainment. Only thing was that it was amusingly censored. The bonus was really the food. It was nice. There were 2 meals served.. I ate chicken with rice.. Which tasted ...
