    ... was another good one and Matty even signed us up for free pancakes for breakfast in the morning. We parked the van and decided to have a wander in to the centre of surfers paradise again to have another look around and to get a few food bits we needed. It took about 30 mins to walk in to the centre, we were so warm we decided on so e frozen yoghurt to cool us down. We sat down and ate that and noticed a huge queue forming next to us.     ... power boat which created a bow wave of about 3/4 of a metre!!! we upped stakes and moved down to Bums bay for the night - what a crowd! finally found a little spot and anchored again.     ... more concerned about if we were ok, and swapped out car with no fuss. Thankfully we had full comp insurance on the car!
