      This was a very nice little town on the border on Connecticut and New York. It was so noce we almost stayed for the winter. The problem was that it was down in a valley so getting out of the valley with icy roads would have been a problem. During the summer there was the Houstonic River that ran along side the town. This place was beautiful during the fall. Also saw Bull's Covered Bridge. Too bad they did not have a campground ...

      ... it is going to be very rural, and who knows if there would be an RV Repair place within 100 miles of us. So.......all in all, we are very thankful that someone was watching out for us, that we are safe, that big Mo will be fixed good as new (tomorrow we hope) and we can continue safely on our way.

      Not the start we had envisioned to our 4th Cross Country trip, but this is all part of the adventure!

      ... and we chatted about many things including when he visited Perth to produce the Dugites, the band not the snakes, back in the day. A very nice man.

      The sound check was just great to watch; the band played I Want You Back (twice), but did not pay this in the show proper. After the sound check, Robin and Bob kindly asked if I would like to join them for a meal before the show. Once again I checked my diary and declared that I had no plans that could not be ...

      ... Tarrytown.

      The task now is to see our sights for the day, get to the hotel by no later than 4.30 pm and ready ourselves for a short drive into the Tarrytown hills to the restaurant known as Blue Harvest at Stone Barn. Jacket and tie is the requested attire. (Lucky I had been to the Ralph Lauren outlet store and bought up big!!)
