... tennis, playstation, tv and pool on offer and there is also 14 lovely little bungalows you can stay in for your holiday, right on the beach if you don't want to camp in a tent.
Just imagine waking up to the view of the waves crashing on the rocks right outside your door ........... I can't wait for next summer as we will definately be there again.

p.s. After reading some of the other blogs I agree Hersonissos can be a crazy place in town ...

Never ever

In this hotel my family and another 3 foreign family were attacked by thief's over the last night just few hours to go home, I was more than disappointing about the security in this place, about the reaction of the authorities and also the attitude of the hotel manager. The police has no reaction and the hotel manager doesn't want to get in contact with me when I informed about the theft , latter one when I succeed to get his e-mail address he went to the Police ...

Big Time R&R

... the most we did is swim any where from 2 to 4 times a day. Jim and I got back into excercise, and the sweat rolls off as it is very hot here. Any exertion after 8am is too much to handle so I got up early and swam afterwards for a very nice workout involving the hills and the pool.

We also went down to the ocean to swim in the impossibly blue water. It is so easy to swim in the ocean!

Crete - beaches, Knosses, and the Samarian Gorge

... no walls of defense, and may have been ruled by queens of the Minoan dynasty. There is a possibility that the "boys and girls" were sent as young couples to repopulate the palace and life was so good that they stayed. As it is an island, they were never heard from again and people developed a story about the Minotaur to explain why the people never returned.
Otherwise, we spent the rest ...

Grecia

Vreti sa stiti cum e Grecia? E foarte frumoasa, va spun eu. Am fost in vara asta acolo. Mai precis in Creta, Herssonisos.

Thankful

Just finished reading Portraits by Cynthia Freeman. Makes me feel even more grateful for my family. I must be one of the luckiest girls around to have a family who love and support me.

Where to eat?

... to get us eating at there place. But thankfully they didn't - with exception of one, but you have that evrywhere, don't you? "Hello come into my restaurant. We sell nice food.. fish.. meat.." and they quote the whole menu to you while all you want to do is run away. So in our case not the best way to get us to eat there. That's sounds like rather childish behaviour of us if I read that :/

I just swollowed salt water *Yuck!* The sea was lovely though - many waves!

It's hot!

... on it! Six pack mineral water and some fruit juice + two ice creams all for a wapping 26 Euros! There goes our budget! Now wlaking back up, Eve and I had some serious breathing difficulties! At least Eve had enough breath to talk sometimes :p - I was struggling even when simply nodding yes or no *g* We sat down in the shade for a wel needed rest before walking up a small steep path that would take us to ...

A tough start

... their the ticket man sells us the wrong tickets and we almost got the wrong bus! It was thanks to Eve's observance and a friendly Greek man that we found it out - he also helped us get the right tickets and bus.

The bus dropped us off right on the edge of a busy road in what looked like nomans land and pointed towards a road sign which said Agia Pelagia 2 km. So ...
