The blue lobsters were literally snapping and the shrimp wriggling and waving their antennae as they scrambled over piles of their brethren and we purchased a kilo of the pink crustaceans, and the mussels from Mont St Michel. ... A bit of a driving day a about 230 km . Dinan a small town on the way , with excellent ramparts, provided an early break from driving , old half timbered houses and a picturesque port made for a pleasant 90 minute stop . Angers , our first stop in the Loire valley , had a chateau with really excellent ramparts 17 towers and a quite acceptable audio guide read by the bloke who does the myth busters voice over.
