        Yet another sunny day in France. Last night it was so very black not sure I have ever seen such intense darkness. Suz took her panic alarm to bed with her she spooked me a bit so took mine too but I slept well.         ... was waiting to be filled. I watched for ages. It was quite hard work for them all and the horses didn't always behave! Just as I was going to leave a young woman said "bonjour madam" to me.         ... inside! We decided to go to Doué-la-Fontaine next. A lovely town, much bigger than we expected. We found a gun shop which Dave loved, luckily it was closed! Astree Grill Brasserie, was were we had lunch/dinner. Three courses €12.9. We both left some of the main course, it was just too much and we new there was a crepe coming for pudding.         ... the big wine picking machine was working in the vineyard. I asked the boss if I could take a photo. He stopped the machine to show us how it worked. It's so clever it separates the grapes from the stalks, the grapes go one way and the stalks another. He then picked a few bunches by hand and gave them to us.         ... warned it is very dangerous and there have been reports of hunters being killed by a stray bullet. My husband is going to take part on Friday but he must remain with a hunter at all times and not speak during the pursuit of the boars.
