You have to split the spiky carapace to get into the dark glossy chestnuts, a delicacy when roasted or puréed with potatoes, or made into marrons glacé.We often get strangers stopping on our road ...

... day, sunny, warm and perfect with only a few fluffy clouds to mar the endless blue and I can hear the sharp, crack of rifles and immediate horn blowing afterward signifying what? I will have to wait for my husbands return to get the whole story and it might be awhile. After the hunt the men all rally at Loics house for wine and brioche according to Paul and some exciting boar stories.
There is ...
