We enjoyed our stay in Bristol, especially the games of snakes and ladders and Uno with Isobel. Susan and Robin met us at Barnstaple station and , after a bit of shopping in Lidl, took Lilli and the luggage back to Northfield Lane while I cycled back. It was lovely to sit in the sun for our afternoon tea and later on for dinner. The resident hedgehog put in his nightly appearance and walked past back home after devouring his supper of meal ...

We left Westerleigh and travelled towards Ilfracombe. We could see Wells cathedral with its spires on the skyline, we walked into Wells but just collected some fruit for lunch and carried on.
