Hi everyone, I arrived back in the UK yesterday after a very long journey about 26 hours total - fortunately I didn't feel too bad after it, just a little tired! ... mile walk across the moor to Warren Farm which is situated on the moor, at 410m. With the sun shining this afternoon, it has an idyllic outlook but it must be bleak in the winter. Our hostess, Trudi, is delightful. Made us tea on arrival, drove us down to/from the pub, stopping to show us a herd of Red Deer and being a farmer's wife, is completely unfazed by a request for an early breakfast!
