Departure Day

A travel blog entry by sleightstravels on Feb 07, 2015

All packed and ready to go by 11.00 a still left a little late. No trouble on the roads and swift service for lunch in the pub so arrived in good time at the parking. Good service as usual and through check in without issue. No question about the skis, boots or hand bags. Bumped into Jim Humphries in the check in queue, pleased they are not headed to our resort - the sauna could have been ...

Just as I started walking, my landlord (who also owns the Crossfit box I had just been at), messaged me and ...

All of a sudden we were diverted away from the motorway (hoorah) and on to an unsealed farm track that climbed steeply past a duck pond up to a patch of moorland. Goodbye smooth bike track, hello mud. We had a pretty good view of the coastline, and I enjoyed watching ...

A day out with Dad. Caroline

A travel blog entry by wrightsofnapier on Jan 16, 2013

We went off to Cardiff with Dad , mainly to spend some of he boys Christmas money and Nick's Birthday money. So after a visit to the museum then onto an amazing board game store in the Castle Arcade in Cardiff. It has a couple of really geeky men running the store who know everything there is to know about every complex board game EVER! Then onto a cafe for lunch and back ready for Mum's return from her day out at the ...
