... lost in all the dodgy backstreets and alleyways. I found a cunning and devious route between the M4 and the busy A road, and actually found the bike track for another stretch of riding near traffic. All of a sudden we were diverted away from the motorway (hoorah) and on to an unsealed farm track that climbed steeply past a duck pond up to a patch of moorland. ... Welsh/Aussie friends and headed back to Cardiff.

Friday morning was time to hit the road again. But not before a quick trip to Cardiff's number one Cafe/Restaurant... the Pettigrew Tearooms. A peach tea (Clo), lemon and ginger tea (Matt), scone and a bara brith (traditional welsh cake) later we were ready to leave Wales and make haste to Oxford.
