... lost in all the dodgy backstreets and alleyways. I found a cunning and devious route between the M4 and the busy A road, and actually found the bike track for another stretch of riding near traffic. All of a sudden we were diverted away from the motorway (hoorah) and on to an unsealed farm track that climbed steeply past a duck pond up to a patch of moorland.
