Just a quick update that I am back home in Illinois. Got here last Saturday around noon. It was a great trip and I have more stories to tell you. I will get those out as quickly as I can. The travel list ~

OK folks, the travel log is alive and well.
I head out Wednesday, 2/19 for the Pensacola, FL area for a couple of weeks.
Then will head across the panhandle of Florida, heading toward Savannah, GA.
I will stay there a few days and then head on up to Charleston, SC for a week.
Then to the Outer Banks, NC and to DC for a ...
... times the little one, Kaiya, will be the instigator and Christian will get caught. So I have to be more aware and look from all angles next time. I sure did enjoy the hugs. And I even got hugs last night when I saw them, so I think we are all good again!
What I learned about me
I miss my kitty, Xena. I really enjoyed having Zoe here to talk with.
Babies are great to be with, especially in short doses
... t believe it either. Just decided to not dwell on that aspect and was grateful for celebrating another healthy year. And the kids were so excited to get to celebrate with me. They all made me home made cards and I got lots of hugs.

... thankful that they organized what might have been the world's shortest wedding ceremony. :) Kevin did an AMAZING job of finding a great location for the ceremony - within Wildlife Prairie State Park near Peoria, IL. It's what you'd expect to see in a Central Illinois (large) park...with the exception of bison and elk running around (well, fenced in...but there).
