Originally, I planned on riding 40 something miles. When I reached the halfway, I looked at my camping possibilities. There wasn't anything free for 80 miles, but I was feeling pretty good. I called the Henry police and asked them if I could camp in the park. The officer seemed really confused by this, like he'd never received a call from a cyclist before. Time is getting close for our travels to Italy. We are excited; our adventures will include: Rome, Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii, Florence, Tuscany, Pisa, Venice, Milan and the Italian and Swiss Alps.
Plane and train tickets have been purchased a well as tickets to several historical sights - Vatican, Academy of the Arts (David) and Uffizi Gallery.

It's what you'd expect to see in a Central Illinois (large) park...with the exception of bison and elk running around (well, fenced in...but there).
