... No one thought that the city would be able I recover , but the Chicagoans (we still don't really know what they're called in Chicago) rebuild it all and it became the big city that it is. And that is why in Chicago they are known to be people who are strong willed and get things done even till this day ( which probably explains why it's such a big city for businesses !) then we saw more of the historic district but I'll bore you all individually with all of the trivia I learnt ...

... drive down I had to call my bank so that they could increase the daily withdrawal limit on my account, because I have to pull out money in large sums since they charge astronomical amounts for ATM fees, and if I can avoid that, I'll be golden. However, calling the bank didn't go as planned, especially after sitting on hold for 15 minutes to begin with. ... a plate of curry wurst, or even the potato pancakes could stop us from slowly getting so cold we had to come home. Paddy and Terry had been planning to go to a jazz club. We were so glad of that cup of tea when we got home.
The temperature was -8, feels like -16, and I had planned to take beautiful photos, but I couldn't leave my gloves off long enough for a decent one, even using the auto setting. Expecting more overnight snow.
