Last Few Days of Work
... there since the morning before (they were coming from Manila which is on another island) so they were all pretty loud and itching to get off. After about a half hour, we finally made it back to the bus terminal where we could catch a jeepny back to Bliss.
Our host mom was singing karaoke when we got back so we joined her for a little bit and then ate dinner. It was an early night for us though - I think I was sound asleep by 9pm!
Work today ...
It's bedtime somewhere, right?
It's 6:30 PM and I'm exhausted. It does not help that the sun sets here at 5:30, because the darkness makes me even sleepier. At work today I saw some patients come back that had been in to see the doctor in the earlier couple weeks of May. Some patients have gotten better, some worse. ... maybe not enough power for everyone) but we showered and then went a few doors down to a karaoke bar which was a ton of fun. I'm thinking the other people weren't loving our voices as much as we were though. We ended the night around 10pm and headed back to bed since we had to get up for work early this morning.
Work today was no less busy than yesterday but Kelsey and I had a chance to get to know our nurses even better. They're all great people ...

Medical Mission Day
So, so much for 300 patients....try between 500-600! Medical Mission day took place in a city called Dagami, and was actually in a large gym. Once we got there we set everything up into stations; registering, checking in, circumcisions, etc. We of course were assigned to the circumcision area, which was behind a long sheets to keep it private for the young boys.
