Muesli with water for breakfast (no shops yesterday)! We had left the panniers on the bikes overnight so we were packed and away by 7:40am. After about 5km we came to a resthouse which would have made a better campsite that last night's! There was a cold breeze and overcast although we made good time through meadows, fields and forests all on good paths. At 9km we got excited when a fingerboard said that it was 8km to Magdeburg - we were expecting to do 30km today.
... We waited a while and Syd looked around the site and decided that the place looked rather scruffy for 14euro, plus we would have the extra 2.5km in the morning to get back onto the path.
We decided to ride back to the village to see if we could find the pension with the campsite. With the help of our tablet "Sammy" and Val's 'not' help we found the place and had a beautifully grassed small field at the back of the Pension ...
