Someone asked why all the street names have a point (full stop) behind them. The guide explained that Quedlinburg wanted to change the street names in the past, but Berlin ruled: "no, they are staying the same, full stop!"
So they decided to take that very litterally. :-)
Arrived in Quedlinburg in the early evening. The city center is a maze of one-way streets combined with construction works blocking off routes I needed, but the apartment owner had already offered to come find me if I could not find the apartment.
