Brought brekky this morning at the Cologne railway station because we discovered they have lovely yogurt and muesli. Then we went shopping. I bought a pair of German shoes, made in Hamburg, for $52! Rosanne bought a very comfortable pair of new season shoes for a little more. While we were in the hotel lounge this morning we overheard a group of Brits on a coach tour being corralled into where they needed to go by their super efficient tour guide and made a ...

Even better, parking was also extra but as GG was too tall for their underground car park, we had to park with the smart cars in front of the Hotel at no charge. Hilarious!

Well our trains were delayed but we got there and it was all good. We also got to your hostel and it was also all good. There was a lift for the hotel on the 6th floor.

And.. IT IS AN AMAZING PLACE. Everything is super nice. Nice showers, beds, a kitchen ...

... Cologne-Bonn and for that we could not thank him enough. Once we were assuredly on the correct boat, the rest of the evening was a blast. The english speakers on board (all eight of us) were sensibly seated at the same dinner table and from the moment that we sat down, we were instantly engaged in compelling conversation with the comment, "Yay, another wedding ring on the left hand!". This keen observation is due to the fact that the choice of which hand to wear one's wedding ring ...
