I have arrived!
... journey. Maybe because this is my 7th trip &i know what I am gonna see..... I don't know....... So I arrive at the Ritz. Greeted by the bell man who takes everything I am carrying apart from my handbag & directs me to the Reception, The lobby is grand, gold and marble, Caribbean colours and friendly Ricardo greets me at the desk. Ricardo tells me he is blessed I have chosen his hotel, I ask him if it rained today, he replies with a pause ;) - ...
"A vacation from vacation"
... the same beach...and we really like Sandals resorts (stayed at one in St. Lucia) - they also cater to couples only, yet they are a little nicer...so - that would be a possibility for the future...
And it would be great to have some company, too - so maybe some of our children or friends would join us next time...I think in this blog I did a good job enticing them to consider, no? :)

Pampered Paradise
... pizza was really good though, i was able to eat most of it, and at that point i was thankful to get something in me that wasnt a fruit or a veggetable.
there was a coffee shop called 'cafe de paris' where you can go get coffee drinks or ice cream or pastries...we went there quite often. the cups were really really tiny, it was almost ridiculous, but i still didnt go there was much as i thought i would have. before going there, i had thought id go all the time, but ...
Swimming with Horses
... shallows, we were full on swimming! The horses are trained to swim in a circle with the rider and then along the shoreline. WOW FUN!
I was soaking wet and loving every second. Greg's horse was the loudest of all of the group's, snorting and baying like crazy. We couldn't figure out if it was playing happily or wishing we would get the heck outa there.

The taxi guy thinks we are crazy!
... here we go. Poking and spying we eventually heard a little voice coming from the back porch of the house. Warmer warmer hot cooler cold cold warmer warmer.......an elderly lady stepped out into the sunshine to watch us in our hunt. She laughed when we were "colder" and laughed when we were "warmer". The taxi driver was in disbelief. You want to go into this yard? are you sure? I will stay ...
