Around here the wind picks up in the afternoons so it is very popular with wind surfers.

We did not explore much as it was too hot so we spent our time taking quick dips in the sea, taking cold showers, and keeping out of the sun, oh yes, and getting bitten by mozzies! You can put bug repellant on as much as you want but they alway find the spot you missed.

We left Alquerias around 10 and it was a superb stopover right in the heart of lemon groves exactly the type of Spain I'm trying to find. I don't want Irish pubs sure didn't i own one for long enough. We found our way to a nearby market at Torraguera and tried my best to buy a pair of sandals made in spain by spanish people but sadly we had to surrender and settle for beautiful cherry tomatoes and early spuds.
