One thing in Oz completely different to back home is that everyone lives outdoors. At weekends everyone stops to socialise with family and friends on the beach or in the park. ... to stay in a place called Manly. Looked beautiful on the pics, but again the weather got against us. Rain and thunderstorms as we drove into Sydney over the famous Harbour bridge. We needed a place to stay for 2 nights before we had to return our lovely " House on Wheels" So with stormy European weather we managed to find a small camper site near the airport and close to town. We managed to catch up with some old friends of Tracey’s that she hadn’t seen in years. ... where is on local time it was only 2AM and on the phone where the alarm went off it was only 11AM. So how did the alarm go off 3 hours ahead? Was the trying too smart and changed to local time already? I called the front desk just to confirm what time it really is and he confirmed its only 2AM. We went back to bed for a few more hours. To this day, we still don't know what happened.

Ich hab damit gerechnet, dass mir nach den paar Schmaeh's, das sich das Universum auf meine Kosten geleistet hat, Sydney gefallen wird. Aber ich haette niiieee damit gerechnet, dass es mir SO gut gefallen wird! Ich renn seit meiner Ankunft mit einem Dauergrinser im Gesicht herum und erfreu mich jeder Stunde, die ich hier verbring.... na gut, uebertreiben soll mans ja nicht: fast jede Stunde. :o)

... house. When i got there i was surprised as I imagined that the opera house would have been bigger, however it was no less spectacular and a bit mad that i am here at such an iconic location. From here i walked to the Macquaries Point, which is a perfect spot for getting photos with the harbour bridge and opera house in view. I was there just as the sun was setting, so the sky was a clash of blue and orange. In the evening i watched some television and did very little else.

... drying it with the hand dryer in a public toilet. Changing in front of complete strangers and managing not to frighten them off ( greyhound station and in the dorms) Its pretty amazing what you can do. Having a 1 min shower on the boat, which was a hole over the toilet, whilst flying back and forth as trying to keep upright when hitting huge waves during a storm. also try getting into and out of a top bunk on the high seas, you have to be a ...

Very good deal if you bough any two pairs of shoes. The global financial crisis is screwing up my vision of what retail clothing should and does cost since it feels like everything is on sale. ... jeg bare og venter paa kl bliver 24, saa jeg kan ringe billigt hjem.

I morgen skal vi ud og udforske byen lidt og ned til samtale med en paa kontoret mht jobs og om aften skal vi paa saadan en sejltur om aften, hvor der er buffet og fri bar. Tror det bliver ret sjovt.

Ellers er det bare super fedt, men virkerlig underligt at taenke paa jeg endelig er her. Men det godt nok en fed fornemmelse.
