We got up and took a taxi to Guiyuan Temple, which was enormous. We thought at first that the main temple was being renovatd but then found other areas on the site. There is a tradition that you enter the Temple of Arhats (small models of Buddhas) where there are over 500 Buddhas and you start counting from wherever you entr until you get to your birth year.
