    Day 39

A travel blog entry by 4girls on Aug 08, 2014

Sleeping in until noon we had to quickly get ready to meet the group for our canoe session. We walked to the town square where our tour manager found out we had already missed the bus as she tad been told the wrong time. This meant one thing...Off to Burger King for breaky. We all got taxis to Cara Morell beach and enjoyed the afternoon in the beautiful water until Alana got stung by a jelly ...

    Day 38

An early morning to get on the bus at 7:25am heading to Barcelona airport. After a maccas breakfast we boarded the plane for Menorca. We wake to clear blue skies, and it's lovely and warm as we walk up to the bus station for the final time. We catch the 09.45 bus for the ten minute ride to the airport. Menorca has been great and we buy a book on walks around the island, The Cami de Cavalls. ...

Mahon - San Tomas - Es Migjorn Gran

A welcome late start as the bus doesn't leave for Sant Tomas, a small town on the coast in the south of the island, until 12.15. The 10km walk starts with a kilometre along the sandy beaches which look stunning iwith blue sky and turquoise sea. It's a shame to leave as the walk cuts up the limestone gorge but it is equally impressive with trees, scrub, wild flowers against the white limestone. It's hot and eventually we arrive at the Cova de Coloms, ...
