... to find out what would happen if they wrapped in the gears. I pulled over to tie and tuck them in; no issue but was at the end of the group as I needed to catch up. I also noticed that the sun was strong and the trail was hard to see the hazards as the early morning had the sun right in our eyes. Just as the pace was relaxed and rolling through the parks you heard a bang and saw someone crunch over the handle bars. Even though there was nothing you can do, it was painful to see ...

... t have had such a good time if we hadn't known you were taking such good care of him...x 13.45pm we are just about to board the ferry...the skies are clear but it is very windy...just hope ferry's not too bumpy!!! ... it was fun trying to work out what the products were and what we needed. We needed bread and mum had to slice the bread herself when we decided which type we wanted. The other families came yesterday, everyone is here now except for one family. We all went for a walk along the beach and to the yacht club, it took forever! Our boats are all there waiting in a container, we have to get them out tomorrow for our first training ...

... was pretty cool, but over pretty quickly if I'm honest... So we arrived in Calais and headed straight for Belguim (first country in main land Europe), no maps, no gps, nothing... However we found the place after only 3 times driving up the same street! Nice place and hopefully a shower tomorrow as we still don't have running water in the van, hmmm.

Subsisting on chocolate, beer, and amazing friends. Is there anything better!? Or more Belgian?! Spent two nights in the unesco world heritage, protected, town of Brugge, Belgium. Fell in love at first sight of the old buildings, cobblestone streets and fries, chocolate and beer. The hostel was amazing, offering 1€ beer at happy hour and beer tastings. Though I've never enjoyed it, I found that the typical beer-and-fries snack of the Belgian was just too amazing and delicious to ...
