... talking with the barrista and she was very passionate about her coffee. She explained that some of the older residents have come and tried the coffee, hated it and never come back. But she was ok with that - her dream is to inspire the younger crowd to experience new coffee flavours and styles. ... it was fun trying to work out what the products were and what we needed. We needed bread and mum had to slice the bread herself when we decided which type we wanted. The other families came yesterday, everyone is here now except for one family. We all went for a walk along the beach and to the yacht club, it took forever! Our boats are all there waiting in a container, we have to get them out tomorrow for our first training ...

... way up to the Church of our lady (Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk – I won’t even try to pronounce it). Being the picture perfect town that Bruges is, everything was like it should have come out of a storybook. We enjoyed watching the horse drawn carriages roll down the cobbled streets as we sat drinking in one of the city’s many bistros.

After the brewery, we went to the grocery store because Jaeys sister wanted a traditional Flemish meal for dinner. We picked up potatoes, red cabbage and sausage. Doesn't sound like much, but the end result was mash potato, sausage and the craziest red cabbage I have ever had! It was made with apple sauce and reduced... It was unreal!
