... then we came to a traffic light and a one way tunnel! And the light was green.

It was the scariest thing I’ve experienced for a long time. The tunnel was narrow, hand carved with irregular walls and roof with occasional wet patches on the track. The lighting wasn’t great either and we could feel but not see an indentation down the centre where they had buried a cable. It was a long 1,4Km! The reward on the other side was worth it. We ...

Once we return to Split, we do some shopping. Jeannette buys a new dress, which is quite nautical.

... Usually my fear of heights is okay if I can't envision how I could possibly fall -- in this tower it was so easy to envision myself falling that by the top I was gasping out of fear more than anything else! Luckily, we did get a lovely view of the rest of the palace, as it is rather more extensive than the tourist-frequented bits that we made it to.

We made it to Brela from Split at around 6pm and promptly got lost on the way to our hostel. This ...

... her way back from holidays with her husband, Marijan, so they stopped in briefly to say hello.

When Zdenka and her husband, left, it was time to visit Didda’s sister’s daughter (Draz’s first cousin). She lived back where Bubba’s house is. When we arrived, we were met by her Daughter. We stayed for about two hours talking etc, before heading back home and then into town for a look ...
