    ... br> The road on the Island is scenic, narrow, winding and bumpy with no passing lane.
    As usual, I found my pre booked Hotel, changed clothes and went to explore the old town of Hvar. This is a beautiful Town, secluded in a lovely bay with an old fortress overlooking the harbour.The restaurants abound as well as the tourist who come here by car or by boats from the City of Split on the main land.

Usually my fear of heights is okay if I can't envision how I could possibly fall -- in this tower it was so easy to envision myself falling that by the top I was gasping out of fear more than anything else!
