At the pool and breaky before we left
We were at the pool for shabbot. Sunbathing on their loungers. The pool wasn't heated and it was cold. We just took it easy and then we went back to the room to have lunch. The room was a cute little efficiency and why didn't I take pictures of it. Silly moi. Tomorrow we go to Petra which will be exciting.
The Miami Beach of Israel
We are now in Eilat. Words cannot tell you how beautiful, even pictures cannot do justice to how magnificent this city has become. Forty years ago, I remember one main road and a couple of motels. First the Dead Sea Now the Red Sea
... Pillar that is supposed to be Lots Wife. Not sure about it as there are 4 others that also claim it.
Our last tour spot of the day was Solomons Copper Mines. Did most of this on a driving tour but got to see some 6000 year old cave drawings and hear the stories of how these mines worked. Fascinating.

Aqaba is nice town, quite modern with a prominade with restaurants, many yaughts, the Red Sea with it's many diving & snorkling places. Our hotel directly opposite the beach so had to give it a go, I got about 20 metres out when Sam pointed out some black spiky things not to let touch me whatever ...
