The first thing you see in Margarita (apart from perhaps plumped lips at the airport) is the sheer amount of vultures, and if you go to the beach in the morning, you'll see a sea of jellyfish that have been washed up overnight. The irony wasn't lost on us that the two most prominent creatures there are either circling, waiting to feed off you, or sting you, as that's pretty much how we felt about the majority of the island's inhabitants.

Heute gönnen wir uns eine kleine Pause. Direkt neben dem Pier gibt es einen kleinen aber schönen Sandstrand. Für 12 US$ zwei Liegen mit Sonnenschutz. Zum ersten mal baden wir in der karibischen See. Auf Sight seeing haben wir verzichtet.

Wir sind zum Glueck frueher als geplant mit der Faehre auf die Isla Margarita, wo wir in unser super Apartment einziehen konnten. Die Wohnung liegt direkt am Beach und auch in Reichweite des Stadtzentrums.
