Scarily it was a bit like dodgem cars, because of the cars pulling out towards the middle lane to miss the puddles, even some big trucks doing it who where too high for it to even affect their cab. I had decided last night that today I would make the 5-mile trek from my hosts' home to Miami Beach on foot today. I didn't get as early of a start as I had planned, but still got out the door before 9am, heading south on NE 10 Ave for a block or two toward NE 167, where I proceeded east all the way to the beach.

... teenagers on Summer Vacation camp. Late afternoon we caught a taxi into the centre of Miami where we met up with the All American Tours bus which took us to Orlando. The bus ride was 5 hours long. We were dropped in Kissimee, Orlando at around midnight out the front of a super Walmart store.
