... result we decided that we deserved an ice cream and a trip to the beach so that is where we spent the rest of the afternoon - not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon. That evening, the three of us decided to head out for the evening out in Natal. After vetoing a heavy rock bar we found a place playing live samba music - much better. Got the bus back to the far end of Ponta Negra where a huge
sandy headland is sliding down into the sea – was happy I was not staying in
the crowds here as the beach disappeared at high tide leaving everyone cramming
the streets, shops & restaurants.
