... a tourist attraction! Unfortunately no big waves today but a lovely place! Driving via some scenic coastal towns we stopped at the walled medieval village of Obidas. This was a charming tourist town with lots of craft shops and an interesting little tavern where we enjoyed a half bottle of local white wine. ... But going ashore, even if it does not involve small boats will not be possible as you're not allowed to take wheelchairs onto coach excursions, which is what we are booked on.
So on Tuesday when we get to Antigua Min and I could have to stay on the ship when everyone else goes ashore. Now what can I sabotage to stop the boat going any further? If I can do that it'll be flights home, apologies, compensation, a short jail term... oh what's the point? I'm stuck here, aren't I?

... is on the far side of a port with little boats.. There were men raking and drying seaweed on the sand....supoosedly it's used for make up...guess like Agar gum..Finally made it to Nazare which was ugly old high rise, tourist town with tons of buses and campers....we drove right out again and headed to Alcobaca and the old Monastery there..
