We have a leisurely morning relaxing in our suite and terrace before checking out at noon and heading for Obidos. The journey starts on a country road as far as Santarém and we have the roof down but it gets too hot so we put it back up. Then we get on to the motorway. Again it is almost deserted. We stop at a motorway service station. The restaurant is closed and you can almost see the tumbleweed blowing through. ...

We arrived back in Nazare hot, tired and just wanting to cool down possibly in the ocean ...

The waves were crashing in and knock me completely off my feet. It was very cold, however we did spent about 15 minutes in the water. We took a stroll along most of the beach. It would probably take 30 or more minutes to walk ...

... guess it's going to be one of those days - 60 miles to go so might as well get going! Ellisa feeling weary too as she decides to play up when we leave and refuses to go into forward drive. Definitely déjà vu of Puerto Rico in 2012 so let's hope we can get it sorted tonight with a little bit of maintenance on the gear cable - she has done a lot of ...
