... parlor, to welcome us and offer us a glass of Ginjinha made by her husband. All of us, including the two girls, were given a glass, and it was sublime. So sweet, with no bite whatsoever. Once we put our bags in the hallway for 7 a.m. transfer to bus we decided to go right down for our last buffet breakfast at the Intercontinental Lisbon Hotel. Everyone tried to eat lighter so we wouldn’t feel so full on the bus trip north. I am not sure we accomplished that objective.

... we are lucky to find a parking space just a few yards from the hotel. I knew it was going to be tricky to get to the hotel but it was more of a nightmare than I expected. We check in and find a little treat of chocolate cake and the local cherry brandy in our room. Its the type of intensive care we needed after the trauma of getting the car parked.
