... each estancia, or farm. We've made it to Patagonia. There are no people here until we arrive at Comodoro Rivadavia, a kind of working man's town with lots of hustle bustle on the main street. Petrolium is the game here. There's little else as the land is just big hills of gravely dirt.
So we took the bus down the coast to Rada Tilly, the nearest tourist town. It has a very wide beach and, this being Saturday, there was a big rugby tounament going on ...

... not on the podium. Saw a bit of bird life, sooty shearwaters, albatrosses. Rain and lightning in the evening. A couple of our waiters are from India and Keith discusses cricket with them.

Much cooler day. At 7am, we walked a kilometre on deck 11, the walking track deck, then went to a stretching class. Chris is not going to zumba as it is $10 per class.

Friday 26th December

Our last full day in Puerto Madryn. We wanted to see a colony of penguins, but the tour is not available, so we decide to see the elephants seals instead at Punta Ninfas. We did see some a few days ago when we visited the Peninsula Valdez, but only from distance. Whereas in this tour we will be literally a few meters away from them.
