... cockerels, strutting their stuff, giant rabbits, a duck and a goose, a couple of snakes and some lovely Jersey cows having their tails back combed, their hooves pedicured and their fur hair dried and sprayed to perfection! Lots of different vegetables too - cucumelons (a new one on us!), black tomatoes and double tone squash. Who knew a country show could be quite so much fun!! ...

Had a nice dinner but with an early start in the morning we were mindful not to over indulge with the festivities.
Off to London tomorrow morning via Aurigny Air, arrive at Gatwick at 9.30am.
Up at 5.30 am this morning early start to catch the ferry to Guernsey. We hump the bags about a kilometre to the terminal and check in for our trip across the channel to Guernsey.

The streets are cobblestones and very narrow and of course our cars are European and here the cars are British so not only were Chris and Tony watching the edges of the narrow streets, they were also on the wrong side of the road for the steering wheels!
