    ... is a female. He did show us the way though. The toilets, not so clean. Shops, well there are a few to say the least. I can buy perfume from 'swizzerrand' that I cannot get anywhere else. I can go to Winstons for a smoke if need be. I can pray. I can sit near a peaceful garden or fall asleep on a children's play area. We went up to floor 5 of the hotel to see what they were offering at the Spa. Fancy us thinking it would be affordable! Silly pair ...

    Today we went to Venice. The weather was particularly good with barely a cloud in the sky. This meant repeated application of sunscreen. Since Venice is completely cut off, we had to take a ferry to and from the city. It was nice to be in a complete city that had absolutely no cars or bicyclists.

    ... Good luck we ended up in a priority line so whizz straight through (don't know quite how we got in that line but I liked it!). The girl at the check in admired our 'pretty' passports. "Oh you're from New Zealand?", "we don't get many people from NZ", so we asked how many from NZ on this cruise. Answer: 4. That's us 4, we are the NZ representatives on Costa Magica.
