    ... and he has no commitments. All the pieces have come together and this is the moment I set the trip meter to zero and the adventure begins.

    I put the car in "Drive," start rolling and tip back my new travel mug full of delicious hot black coffee… and it spills a waterfall of that delicious hot black coffee down the front of my shirt (soaking through to my chest) and pooling on my ****** (also soaking through to, you know…).     We got a good night’s sleep and were up around 7. We had breakfast at the motel and were out by 9. Cool, cloudy and windy today. Good for driving - no glare from the sun. Pretty straight highway as we drive across Illinois on Hwy 80, which is a pretty straight highway and in good condition.
