    At SC, it took us awhile to learn how to set up our pop up tents. Our campground was between the Missouri River and I29 near downtown. This was NOT going to be a quiet evening of sleep before Day 1!

It's bad enough that the larger Kansas City is in Missouri with the other one directly across the river in Kansas.     The South Dakota Badlands are a must see. As you travel the country side the Badlands just appear from nowhere, the landscape give you no idea what's coming. From the top of the Badlands you can see how the hills are eroding as they diminish down into the lower plains.
    The Badlands National Park has a beautiful drive which finishes at the small town of Wall where the now famous "Wall drug store" is. ...
