    Last night we had some fun swimming in the pool - Kelly tried to teach chris to float without much success. Over our time on Crete we've met a bunch of people from the Netherlands.     ... tour buses there by the time we arrive at 8.30am (another hot tip from those in the know). Still the crowds weren't too bad at all. We opted not to have a tour guide. There are explanatory signs are nearly every major brick or fresco, so its pretty easy to get around yourself and work out what you are looking at. Its an amazing place if you are a history buff.
