... the best sunbathing spot in the bay. You pulled yourself out to sea, using some rope, and floated until you couldn't bear the heat, so then jumped into the clear blue water to cool off. It was also a good opportunity to try some more snorkelling, although the visibility wasn't great so I didn't last long. Chris however went on a mission to find some sea horses, he didn't, but he did have a little yellow and black stripy fish swim just in front of his mask the whole way ...

We have driven south east from Reykjavik around ...

... our luggage. Which we have to pick up at the international terminal. Makes lots of sense. Having had no wifi for the past few days we don't have a place to sleep. Where is the nearest bridge? Luckily our dear newlyweds whom we met in Phnom Penh told us where they stayed when they were here and so we just head there and eventually even arrive and get a room. And sleep. Summary: 2 boats, 4 buses, car, 2 planes and a taxi. ...

... other is quite an interesting sensation. The pounding of the rain on the water is a sight not to miss. This is followed by a Baywatch-style jog on the beach. With all the rain our big plans to explore the island and hike to the lighthouse literally fall into the water (German is our (ok 2/3 of us) mother tongue, give us a break). Instead we trek through the jungle to reach a sunset lookout point. While we wait for nature's spectacle we practise our posing and shooting ...
