... Street is closed every night to automobiles so pedestrians can walk freely. Other streets close for pedestrian traffic also, but Bourbon St. is the primary party street. ... of the only places (other than Philly) in the US where I have been and I feel like I am in another country. The customs, traditions, food, people, and culture of New Orleans are all its own. Completely unique and quirky. It is its own country. So much happened in the 3 months I was living there. My fear of not knowing anyone faded after about a week, and I soon was back to my normal 100mph 100% of the time.

... hard I can’t sleep in it. But its lumpy. Could probably use a new one. It does have a microwave and a mini fridge which works so that is nice. The breakfast is til 9:30 and is included. It is adequate but not expansive. There was cereal and breads and sausage and French toast and some fruit and juice and coffee of course. It was well stocked and I will say the attendants were always refilling things and very attentive. Again, great staff here all ...

... which is one of the oldest jazz halls in NOLA. The show was amazing and we were able to take a picture of the drummer as part of our continued Humans of the US project. After the show we went to the Black Smith Bar, which is one of the oldest bars in the country and then we went back to the Marigny to hear some more live music. We stopped at a bar after a few hours for a round of pool before heading home. Next stop, Atlanta.

... having so many free person's of colour in NOLA.

We had a short time between our next tour so we quickly went and checked in. I threw some water on my face and we met up with the gang to go on our cocktail tour. We all loved this tour. It had history and booze, who wouldn't love that. It was another walking tour. The walking tours are great as you sight see the streets while on the tour.
