We left Sara & Colum's this morning for the second half of our adventure. First major point of interest will be Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. Traveling through west Texas was new territory for us. Enjoyed going through Fredericksburg - advertised as "Peach Country." It lived up to its name. After going through downtown, there were peach roadside stands everywhere. ... Pizza Hut in Fredericksburg. Once again, Bob has sworn off taking kids to a restaurant since it takes a while to get the food. Besides pizza, they all decided to have salad. I've never seen kids those ages eat salad the way our kids do.

After dinner we headed back to the park and started packing things up. It had started to rain and we did not want to put things away wet, also. After they got ready for bed, they all sat quietly and played their video games.

... it was dusty and hot, the boys took showers and got ready for bed. They wanted to watch the LEGO Movie so we put it in and they settled in. We were hoping they had worn themselves out, but at midnight I turned the movie off and told them to go to sleep, Aaron was already asleep at the foot of the bed, so all four of them slept on the bed.
