... are magnificent and there are many tourists. We head back to the hotel as the girls need to wash their hair. Russ & Steve still have a bottle of red but the girls have nothing. In the foyer of the hotel there were cases of wine. We ask if they were for sale and the hotel staff arrange a tray with glasses and ice bucket. We retire to Liz and Russ' room and enjoy a pre dinner drink. We ordered a taxi for 7.15 and our driver arrived. We ...

Rainy day

After another two hours we made it to Bad Liebenzell, at Anita's house way up above the town. It is a lovely wooden house with a huge wild garden and a shaggy bearded collie called Dala. Anita does not speak any English and we sat round with glasses of water, until, at 9oc, I said to Lilli "does she ...

After spending the weekend in Zurich it was time to head out and explore the many natural wonders Switzerland has to offer. First stop, the Rhine Falls. Certainly no Niagara or Iguazu but impressive none the less. The morning spent up at the falls it was time to grab our stuff and jump the short train down to our next hub of exploration, ...
