Weather was not the best, little drizzle in the morning but the weather improved by afternoon. Planned to got the 'Kleine Scheidegg' but we would not have had a view to Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. So we decided to do a tour to Thun, then travelling along the lake to the Brienzersee to Brienz and travelled back home over the Brünigpass. Peter & Ursula prepared Bratwurst with Rösti for ...

Konstanz is celebrating 400 years since the Council of Konstanz - the meeting at which the three popes came together to sort out who was going to be the one pope to lead the church. We had a lovely afternoon exploring the old buildings and immersing ourselves in the ...

Hinterzarten Naturelebnispfad

... at 1 on a scale that went up to 6.
The nature trail was beautifully done. It had fun and interesting things for kids of all ages to do along the way that challenged all senses. A German Black Forest elf was your guide for the trail, periodically showing up on trees and posts to assure you stayed on track. After about 1.2 miles, the elf guided the younger kids back to the start but had another 2.5 mile ...
