Went for a walk down through the town for late brekky/lunch. Come back to hotel about 1300 and started to pack suit cases and get things organized for our journey up to visit Ricarda in Greifswald. Had breakfast at the little cafe down by the train station and caught up with Cheryl from Brisbane. Off into Munich and Oktoberfest again to see it sober and look for lost n found for Go Pro n camera gear. No luck but there must have been at least 20,000 people there you could hardly move. ... cold at night and I really didn't want to sleep on the street. Our room has two separate twin beds on either side of the room so we can't sleep together but at least we have our own blankets. The bathroom is the smallest we've had so far. The shower is only big enough for one person and you have to be careful when you bend down that your back doesn't hit the facet and change the temperature on you. The room has a kitchenette so we will take advantage of that ...
... in Zell am See, since we hadn't really seen much of the city yet. It's on the edge of a lake, the Zeller See. And we hadn't eaten lunch.. So we walked down to the lakeshore and found a nice bench to eat our sandwiches. Then we rented an electric boat and went all the way around the lake. At Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Hohe, we were surprised to find a four story parking garage built right on the side of the mountain. I was wondering where all of the cars were going to park. And thankfully there was a gift shop that sold sandwiches and chips. So we bought some and went outside to sit at a wooden table right at the edge of the valley.
