    ... beautiful. Great walks are available, of the short, and long variety. Well worth the money spend on ibuprofen and panadol.

    Boldly going forward we set off east towards Ponferrada, then onto Astorga, Leon and finally Burgos. The road between Ponferrada and Astorga was part of the Camino de Santiago route again, albeit in the opposite direction, and involved traversing some pretty gnarly backroads by European standards.     Again the navigator and the driver are feeling somewhat stressed after a day on the road . Naturally the Pyrenees are spectacular .
