The unusual church in Arta

Our tour ended with an opportunity to see the Panagia Paregoretissa, the 13th century church whose central cupola is considered unique in the world of ecclesiastical architecture. The stacked columns and Byzantine-inspired artwork was quite the sight and a wonderful place to visit.

Then a drive back to the ship and lunch at the Terrace Café.

... a toga. Pretty easy. “one knot if you want it to come undone, 2 if you don’t” were the instructions. Haha. After dinner, we had a couple of hours to sink some pre-drinks and get toga’d up. A lot of the blokes could not work it out and I ended up tied like 7 or 8 togas. The hardest was Joes, the dwarfs, having to first quarter the sheet and then having too much material to make a knot with.

... we had heard about earlier in our trip. 40 girls, 5 guys, 2 of the guys were taken and the other 3 were socially awkward, so we had to capitalize on that.

After dinner, we left last, it was clear that both these tours are not party animals. Where our group had polished off all the wine from all of our tables before the mains had been served, these groups had still full and half full bottles on the tables when we walked out. Boat ride to Paxos

... for swimming so we had to leave. The boat was rocking a lot!

We arrived at Paxos and ate gyros for lunch. Gyros is pita bread with chips meat and salad. Then we had an ice-cream and walked around the streets. We jumped back on the boat and I sat at the top with the captain and listened to the music.

Beach Resort in Parga

Parga is a town located in the north western part of Greece. We stayed at a really nice resort on Lichnos beach, and it had a pool. We did lots of swimming in the beach and pool. Tom and I played a lot of soccer. At night we would eat from the buffet at the resort. We had alot of lambchops, and gyros.
We made friends with two girls, Helena and Daniela, who were from Sydney. We played tiggy ...
