Had a swim & found a convenient palm tree to dry off
under – Imagine these get snapped up pretty soon and then you have to fork out
for parasols or biminis, a strange concept I’ve not seen anywhere else ...
... for quality beer in quality bottles i.e. there is a
deposit of 2 per bottle to pay but you get it back when you return them. I know,
it’d the difference between 50 cents and 25 cents a bottle but it all adds up
in the long run and I hope to be in for the long run if I’m economical!!

it was pretty good and authentic with real mozzarella, zinged up with some
fresh pepper and chilli oil – “I’m in heaven, ….”!
Enjoyed the rooftop terrace back at the ranch until bedtime
- I had the only upstairs room, which was off that terrace and next to the
communal cooking/eating area. I had been concerned it might be noisy but had it
to myself. The lovely breeze continued all night so mossies were blown into

Trip Advisor – maybe they were before wifey died and things have been let go since, but the room was dirty, way overpriced, the fan like it's owner was barely operational and the fridge took off & climbed to 30,000 feet for about 5 mins every quarter hour!! Add to this curtains that don’t meet, the musty pillows and the owner stumbling in even drunker and hawking away, meant I did not sleep well and couldn’t wait to leave ...
