... 8220;Dyana said, “lets head for the ‘famous blue caves, and if we find a beach, or cove on the way, we’ll swim as well.” And that’s exactly what happened. We found a beach. Had lunch and swam. Then asked how far to the famous blue caves. “Oh, not very far… maybe about fifteen minutes….. You go that way,” said the local, looking and pointing up the road. And we were off again. Well, half ...

... nearby. We did however find the original Roman Baths in a sad start of disrepair and like a lot of Greece pretty dirty. Not a patch on Taupo or Tokaanu. Here we meet some German tourists taking a mud bath, their 6th day in a row. They were very friendly and told us how to access the mud from the bottom of a grotty looking pool, bake in the sun for 30 ...

Mary Ann and I settled for cappuccino and a beer, plus over an hours worth of internet time. That is how yesterdays huge file was transmitted. One cafe which specialised for crew members was packed - Philippinos catching-up on Skype. Finally able to relax for a couple of hours dockside. Lots of ...

Today was absolute perfection for me. The epitome was floating in the balmy Adriatic sea under an azure blue sky, being nibbled by a shoal of little fish that I could clearly see in the water. Actually, that was a bit disconcerting ... because they were biting me!! But they were the size of big sardines so their teeth were tiny. They didn't faze me enough to cut short my swim, it was way too blissful and I was far too relaxed to take evasive action.
