Burning Man - Before, during and after.

Preparing for the Trip

... a little before rush hour gets underway. We'll drive from Berkeley, north to the historic region of the California Delta. We'll take a ferry to a private road, Ryer Levee Road, to the campground. Mount Lassen escapades

San Francisco - Day One

... and spent the journey to the hotel discussing the cost of American university education with my fellow travellers. I have no idea how anyone affords an education over here... The hotel (Sheraton on the Wharf) is really nice, two big double beds in our room and a great lounge downstairs for coffee etc. It's also in a brilliant location, about a block away from Fishermans Wharf so that even a lazy creature like me can walk up to it.
