... and buses close to our little Panda! All was good though; apart from the fact that there was literally NO toilet or service station for well over 120km. So by the time we finally stopped we were busting for a wee, along with many many others! I can't understand this and it seems very poor planning as the shop and toilets were not coping at all well, with over 100 cars and people trying to park, buy food, go to the toilet etc.

... places to eat. Lucy was hungry again. Oh dear. Luckily we didn't stop at one of the restaurants along the canal and walked further where we stumbled upon a large open air market. It was really cool. Had lots of organic food stalls and lots of places to sit. Our host had encouraged us to eat Italian food and drink Italian wine so for the 5th night in the row we did. ... I managed to squeeze into a nice pair of new shoes and a "burnt orange" pair of trousers. The colours are great and I have never seen so many mens clothes stores in my life! So, Peroni in hand, I sit in solitude contemplating what tomorrow may bring? More shopping? A city bus tour? Another trip to the cathedral? Whatever it is, it will be our last day in Europe we will make the most of it and I will be a little sad to say ...

... a bit annoyed that it's too dark to get decent photos of the beautiful buildings and historical murals... then down to the lakeside which is active, but not really packed with people. I'd think that this would have to be a very popular summer spot for folks from the cities in the plains to get away. I do check prices at a hotel. 35 Euros a night. Actually less then I had thought... but no... I'm switching to camping mode and will only use this option as an emergency ...
